3:30 PM, SUNDAY June 1, at Town Hall
BARRINGTON PRIDE MONTH
CELEBRATION!!
Join friends and neighbors at Barrington Town Hall for this year's Barrington Pride Month celebration, kicking off at the very beginning of Pride Month, on Sunday, June 1st.
We'll gather at Town Hall at 3:30 PM, to close out the Barrington Arts Festival* in style! Listen to remarks from inspired and inspiring community members, raise the Pride Flag, then head out for the celebratory procession along Country Rd.
The ceremony will once again be co-emceed by Barrington Town Council President Braxton H. Cloutiér and Barrington Community Progress Association Co-Founder & Barrington DEI Committee Vice Chair Jacob Brier.
UNITED WITH PRIDE is a community initiative that coalesces LGBTQIA2S+ people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, with allies and other community groups and organizations. The primary focus is to create a joyful and inclusive celebration of the queer community for Barrington Pride Month. UWP, Barrington's official Pride Month ceremony, is organized by the Barrington Community Progress Association and the Town of Barrington's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, in partnership with the Parks & Recreation Department and volunteers.
Activites are still being finalized, but plan to show up with your bright clothing and bright smiles for this spirited annual tradition!
